This project involved the review and supervision of water supply infrastructure for Morupule Coal Mine, including a tie-in to the 1200 mm NSC 1 pipeline, a new pumping station (87.2 l/s, 145m head) with a 750 m3 reinforced concrete sump,
a 17 km uPVC pumping main, and two 12,000 m3 HDPE-lined reservoirs. Additional works included pipe jacking under major road and rail crossings, along with associated electrical and telemetry systems.
